Established with the responsibility to establish a fair and
proper system of handicaps in accordance with procedures set forth in
the USGA Handicap System Manual. The Handicap Committee is
comprised of the following members:

season
The 2011 season
officially begins on Friday, April 1. This is the first day
for accepting scores for rounds played on courses within the Chicago
District.
The season officially ends on Monday, October 31. This is the
final day for accepting scores for rounds played on courses in the
Chicago District.
out of season scores
Scores for
rounds played on courses in the Chicago District before the season
officially begins or after the season officially ends, regardless of
how good the weather, are not acceptable for posting. This
applies to any area that is "off-season".
However, rounds played in any area that is "in-season" (such as
Florida, Arizona, Southern California, etc.) must be posted for
handicap purposes.
revison schedule
The USGA has adopted a national revision schedule which all
golf
associations in the U.S. must begin using no later than 2012.
The
CDGA implemented this schedule in 2010. All revisions will
take
place on the 1st and 15th of every month, year round. The
