
HAPPY HOUR SHOOT OUT. The
Happy Hour Shoot
Out is the eighth of ten POTY events
scheduled throughout the season. The Happy Hour Shoot Out is
a
nine hole, short course (par 3 or similar) event scheduled on the
friday afternoon before the Club Championship. The event is the
traditional kickoff to championship weekend. The Club
established the Happy Hour Shoot Out in 2001.

This event will be an individual stroke play competition with the lowest handicap members playing from the back tees, the next lowest handicaps playing from the second set of tees from the back, and the next lowest handicaps playing from the third set of tees from the back. Lowest score wins the event.
Happy Hour Facts
A version of the Happy Hour Shoot Out has been held every year since 2001. The first year the format was a two-man team competition. Since 2002 the format has been individual stroke play competition with the lowest handicap members playing from the back tees, the next lowest handicaps playing from the second set of tees from the back, and the next lowest handicaps playing from the third set of tees from the back.
Including the results of 2010 there have been 6 different winners. The record for wins is currently held by TJ Gwizdala (3) and Eric Martin (3). The record for second place finishes is held by Robert Hayes (3) followed by Jerry Widergren (2).
