
STABLEFORD
COMPETITION. The Stableford Competition is the sixth of ten
POTY events
scheduled throughout the season. The Club established the
Stableford Competition in 2003.

The Stableford Competition will
use handicaps for an adjusted hole score. The objective is to
earn the highest point total.
Points are awarded per hole as follows:
Double
bogey or higher = 0 points
Bogey = 1 point
Par = 2 points
Birdie = 3 points
Eagle or one on a par three = 4 points
Double eagle or one on a par four = 5 points
One on a par five = 6 points
Stableford Facts
The Stableford competition has been held since 2003. Including the results of 2010 there have been 6 different winners. The record for wins is currently held by Eric Martin (3) followed by five others (1). The record for second place finishes is held by Bill Goff (2) and Robert Hayes (2).
