TEAM COMPETITION. The Team Competition is the third of ten POTY events scheduled throughout the season.  The Club established the Team Competition in 2001.

Among club members there will be a blind-draw for partners.  The team with the lowest best ball (adjusted) score wins.  If there is an odd number of members at the time of this event, the person without a partner will combine his score with the average score of the group participating in this competition.

Team Competition Facts

A version of the Team Competition has been held every year since 2001. From 2001 to 2008 the event format was a team stroke (adjusted) play competition. Beginning in 2009 the event format was changed to a two man best ball (adjusted) competition.

Including the results of 2010 there have been 10 different winners. The record for wins is currently held by TJ Gwizdala (5) followed by Eric Martin (4). The record for second place finishes is held by Chad Atkinson (5) followed by TJ Gwizdala (3).
